My name is Peter Andreas. I was born in 1967.
I own a small advertising business, so I spend my day looking at and listening to the Danes in order to infuse minute and intricate adjustments to their brains to make them go out and buy things they don’t need.
And I must say, that lately I have built up an increasing amount of discontent with what I’m seeing and hearing. The country and the people that I was once very proud of being a part of have grown into being the arrogant garden gnome of the world. A small, self-assertive and generally impolite little bulge on top of The Continent that contributes nothing but stubbornness and lack of civility to the global community.
This blog is a collection of all the things that have to be removed from Danish culture if we want to make the most out of our potential as a part of a globalised world. Simple as that.
I’m going to smack down on all our wrongdoings with relentless vengeance. I will kick the shin of our patriotism, drop ice cubes down the neck of our national character and shout slanderous insults at our unfounded pride.
Or, as put by the wonderfully un-Danish singer John Legend:
Baby when I used to love you
There’s nothing that I wouldn’t do
I went through the fire for you,
did anything you asked me to
But I’m tired of living this lie
It’s getting harder to justify
Realized that I just don’t love u
Not like I used to
