Just thought I would share a little snippet of research for the next post with you beforehand:
Last week a famous football player published a book (probably written while he was serving a sentence for beating up his ex-wife) in which he, among other things, stated that he “really hates gay people, they are fucking disgusting” and “admires Hell’s Angels for not doubting their masculinity”.
That led a famous actor to yell angrily at him in a TV-show they both attended the other day. Not because of the obvious bigotry or perverse fascination of violence. But because the book had stirred up a commotion that “completely ruined the cosy atmosphere” in our country.
There’s a handful of kudos to you if you can guess the subject of the next post. And no – it’s not football. Or homosexuality.

And this, Peter, is why I’m as dismayed as you are. I’m also appalled at the apathy exhibited from most Danish celebrities. Very few of them seem wont to speak out against injustices. Compare and contrast to celebrities of other nations such as France, America or the UK and it’s even more startling.
Keep up the good work, Peter.
Please write about the 100,000 dkk debacle. I need to hear the opinion of a Dane that is awake.
That new insanity is most likely the topic of the next one. He probably needs to calm down a bit so he can write about it without breaking his keyboard from the forceful typing of swear words lol
You got that right, Peter. The **reason why** is very important.
I don’t read tabloids, but one of the headlines was this football player pleading that “he was only saying what Danes are thinking.”
There is a **reason why** plenty of Danes see the nationalistic party DF as a representation of Danishness, and **why** this football players thinks he speaks for Danes. There are plenty of Danes like that, to one degree or another, and it might not be the minority…
The fact that your fan club consists mainly of women?
And a few men.
Never mind celebrities. They’re entirely unimportant, or at least they should be. It is the fact that the common Dane might not find raging against homosexuality and admiration of violence appalling. Shame on us.
You’re all honing in, actually. But dig deeper, guys. Dig deeper.
A hint: We’re talking about what might be the very DNA of everything that any Dane has ever done wrong.

I hope the subject of your next post has something to do with this:
