My life revolves around art, not only because of my education but also because of the curiosity and fascination for art in different ways, which I believe I was born with. My primary interests lies with modern art, streetart, digital design and whatever may cross my path that's different.

Integrate this

I moved to Copenhagen from London in spring 2010 with my Danish partner, and found Denmark to be a fascinating place full of contradictions. In September I started sharing my impressions of Denmark in a blog on Berlingske Tidende (http://shahar.blogs.berlingske.dk) which later moved to Politiken (http://blog.politiken.dk/shahar). I try to use humour to explore Danish culture and the country's relationship with foreign professionals.

Copenhagen by bike

I am a Copenhagener reporting from the city’s busy bicycle lanes. My bike is made for riding, and I ride all over the place, jumping off at spots for practical reasons or to take in upper and underground city culture. Half my life I have cycled in this city. I do not wear a helmet and I have not fixed a single puncture but I know where it can be done with a smile. Follow me and you too will find out the best way to move around in Copenhagen is by bike, not because you can. Because you love it.
